About Us
Greg Nichols has been in professional horticulture for over 20 years. He started by mowing lawns while attending George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Upon graduation, Greg founded Twin Oaks Landscaping, Inc, which he operated until 2004. While in Fairfax, Greg became involved in the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS). He served as the president of PGMS in 2007, and is currently on the Board of Directors. In 2004, Greg accepted the position of assistant Director of Facilities for Grounds at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA, where he worked for four years. In 2008, Greg decided to become involved in sustainable landscaping and GreenWeaver Landscapes, LLC was born. Greg is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist (MA-0510A) and a PA certified pesticide applicator (BU10663).
Jennifer Nichols has been involved in horticulture for over 20 years. She was Vice President of Twin Oaks Landscaping, Inc. of Fairfax, Virginia until she moved to Pennsylvania in 2004. Jennifer served on the Board of Directors of the District of Columbia Branch of the Professional Grounds Management Society in 2003, and on the Green Industry Professional Seminar Committee from 1998 to 2004. Jennifer has earned a Certificate of Merit in Ornamental Plants and a Certificate of Merit in Landscape Design from Longwood Gardens.
Lee Armillei has been a landscape designer and project supervisor with GreenWeaver Landscapes since 2010. Since Lee has been with GreenWeaver, she has created rain gardens and meadows, walkways and wildflower gardens. She has also solved problems from wet basements to overgrown properties through the use of best landscape practices. Before GreenWeaver, Lee worked to educate volunteers and property owners on restoring watersheds, increasing biodiversity, and identifying and removing invasive plant species. Lee has a strong background in environmental restoration and landscape design using native plants. Lee graduated from Delaware Valley College with a degree in Environmental Design and Ornamental Horticulture.
